Avoid These Foods to Lower Anxiety Managing and Treating Anxiety includes many factors right from counselling with a therapist, medications, yoga, exercise, relaxation techniques and many more. But, today we will talk about another major contributing factor that is food.
Food you consume during the whole day can obviously influence your anxiety levels.

Now in this video, I have discussed the food and drinks you need to avoid if you are diagnosed with Anxiety.

1. Caffeine
High amounts of caffeine consumption can increase your anxiety levels. Caffeine is present in not only coffee beverages, but also in green tea, black tea with milk, energy drinks, soft drinks and decaffeinated coffee. May be in small amounts or large but they all contain caffeine.
2. Sugar and Artificial Sweeteners
Refined sugar and artificial sweeteners have been reported to show a link with anxiety, if not direct one, but they can somehow trigger anxiety if you don't track the amounts you take.
3. Alcohol
If you suffer from anxiety, then you should consider avoiding alcohol. Studies have shown that alcohol consumption can increase your anxiety levels.

Also, please try to note the food items you think are triggering you r anxiety because our bodies react in different ways to the food we consume.
