Woolworths delivery driver slammed over 'selfish' parking blocking disabled bays

Woolworths delivery driver slammed over 'selfish' parking blocking disabled bays A delivery driver for Woolworths has been branded 'selfish' and 'thoughtless' after blocking access to two disabled bays in a car park.   The truck was parked in a tight spot between two disability vehicles in a non-parking zone.   The incident was captured on camera and posted in the Australian Disability Parking Wall of Shame Facebook group.  People were not impressed and commented calling on the original poster to report the driver.  The post read: "10:45am Friday 12th July, Woolworths delivery truck parked in the disability lined access zone between 2 disability permitted vans. Location: Bendigo, Central Deborah Gold Mine."  Someone commented: "Woolies will not be happy and the driver will be reprimanded, but only if you let Woolies know about it."    "This just makes me so mad," another said.  "Thoughtless, selfish, entitled driver who thinks of no one but themselves."  A third added: "Screw the disabled people that need to get back into those vans, I guess they'll just have to wait for this jerk to do his deliveries."   Woolworths messaged with an apology and said it would be investigating what happened, reports Yahoo News.  "We're sorry to see that one of our delivery trucks was parked in the spot next to the disability bays," the apology read.  "We certainly understand your point of view.  "Our drivers are always seeking to ensure that they adhere to the road rules. The safety of our customers, team members and the general public is our number one priority.  "Thanks for sending us the photos of our truck and for providing the location in question.  "We've passed your feedback on the relevant team for them to address this issue to the driver in question.  "Thanks for bringing this to our attention and we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
