Today we are going to look at putting together a lithium battery bank for car audio purposes. The Yinlong LTO cells have become very popular as they store a LOT of energy and have INSANE discharge rates. Use 6 in series for 12-14 volt systems and add another for up to 18 volts.
In this video I show the components required to set up your LTO bank and talk about cost. These are not cheap, but they save space and weight compared to traditional AGM batteries. They also have an insane charge cycle of up to 30,000 times so they should last for MANY years! See links below for items I purchased for this 80aH bank of LTO (Lithium Titanate) cells I created:
