We took flight from nagpur to Delhi , n then from Delhi to Bagdogra , it is the nearest airport from Darjeeling. We start our journey to Darjleeng from Bagdogra in Innova ( Prebooked). Weather was awesome...roads were steep , curvey and on both sides lush green tea gardens. After about 4 hrs of journey we reached Darjeeling n it was almost dark till then. We checked in to Hotel n went for Famous Mall road, which was just 5 min walk from our hotel. It is most happning place in Darjeeling with lots of , very old cafe's , restaurants, shopping center. But it's too crowded. We went to "Glanerys Cafe N Bakery" which is amongst most famous N oldest cafeshop in Darjeeling. We spend our evening there, enjoying hot cofee in chilly weather.
Next Day started almost at 4.30 with journey to "Tiger Hill" , famous for sunrise but it was very cloudy so couldnt got view of sunrise , but still enjoyed early morning ride in hills n landscaping with lots of clicks. On way back visited "Ghoom Monastery" which is Biggest n very colourful monastery. It was very peaceful. Then walked to " "Batasia Loop n War Memorial". Had hot cofee in garden there in almost 8/10°. Then went back to hotel , had breakfast n next destination was "Himalayan Mountaineering Institute" N "Darjeeling Zoo" My Daughter had lot of fun in zoo. Spent good time at institute and museum which is just above HMI. From there drove to "Tea Garden" , enjoyd hot tea there , clicked lots of photos n move to "Tibetian Refuges Camp" , did some shooping at camp, everything here is handmade n still not at all costly. From there went to "Tenzi Rock" my Daughter tried her rock climbing skills here. N final stop of day was about 20/25 minutes drive from Tenzi Rock , "A Japanese Temple" Luckly it was prayer time at Temple , then walked to "Peace Pagoda" a huge Budhha Monument , A day well ended , in peaceful manner at peaceful place...!
Third Day was very hectic , Toy Train fun ( very crowded) Rock Garden ( A long walk ) , Rope Way ( A Long Que for Ticket ), but when family is with you every moment is fun.......!
That was our last Day in Darjeeling....!
Next Day, early morning , we started our journey to "Gangtok"..about 100 km from Darjeeling...took only one stop at "Lovers Point" where two "Rangeet Rivers" meet. It was awesome journey.. with tea garden on one side of road n "Teesta River" on other side of road in most of the journey...!
Finally reach Gangtok , as weather was very clear, went to enjoy Bird's Eye View of Gangtok through Rope Way...! It was Amazing experience.....! Then walked to "M.G Road" 10 minutes from rope way. IT is "Heart of City....". Spent whole eveing in that vibrant N enthusiastic environment...!
2nd Day in Gangtok started with visit to "Do Drul Monastery" which is very clean, colourfull n lighted with around 500/600 butter lamps in room. Took energy by rotating "Prayer Wheels - Mani"., N then move to "Institute Of Tibetology" . It has huge number of religious books n articals all well maintained...! Next destination was "Banjhakri Water Falls Park" but while driving to waterfall what I saw was "Paragliding" ,N cant resist my self n enjoyed the thrill.....!
Then reach "Banjhakri Waterfall Park", its was one of the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen....! Next spot was "Tashi View Point" , from here we can get view of Kanchanjunga Hill Range if weather is clear but unfortunately it was cloudy day.....!

3rd and final day in Gangtok was journey to "Tsomgo Lake" , Natula pass (Indo-china Border)" and "Baba Harbhajan Mandir". It was ascend of 7000 ft. from Gantok to around 15000 ft. to Natula pass. Hilly roads , clouds everywhere , snow on peaks , and tempt. as low as 4/5°, no one can explain tat journey in words...only I can say is "ये नही देखा तो क्या देखा".Tsomgo lake is beautiful creativity of nature... When we reach there it was clear view of lake and in just 5 min it was all coverd with clouds "That was AmaZing". At Natula pass because of security reason photography is not allowed. Mandir was very beautiful, it has history of long story of brave army man. On way back just near natula pass there is "Ganju Lama War Museum" , I spend almost a hour inside museum..( No photography allowed inside). N then started my journey back to Gangtok.....! Taking all those beautiful memories with me n promising to myself that "One Day I Will Come Again , To This Heaven On Earth.....!"
