A shocking video has emerged of two women employees stealing from a garment warehouse in north-western India. The incident is likely to have taken place in the month of May in Pali district of Rajasthan state.
Visuals captured on CCTV cameras installed inside the facility showed the women, wearing traditional attire, stealing clothes and tucking them inside their ghagra (a traditional garment worn by women in and around the state).
Both women were seen indulging in the malpractice while going through the garments. While one kept on tucking new clothes under her garments, the other woman kept guard.
Upon seeing a man approach, the women also stopped for a while and proceeded to chat with the man, in an attempt to prevent him suspect a foul play.
However. after the man leaves, the women too resume their malpractice.
In a similar incident that took place in Rajasthan's Ajmer on March 29, three women were caught on camera shoplifting clothes under their sarees (stable garment worn by women in South Asia). While one engaged with the salesman, the two others swiftly tucked clothes in their sarees.
