Despite being a real tough task master and a strict disciplinarian, he has touched the hearts of every Soldier, Officer, Officer Cadet and Veteran he has ever served with. His amazing transformation of military stations and OTA, Chennai is simply breathtaking. The stunning Jaisalmer War Memorial and Longewala Yudh Sthal both of which he created are a fascinating legacy which will continue to be an everlasting testimony of a unique role model General. I was privileged to serve under him as my Brigade Commander and subsequently as my Corps Commander. Hats off to you Sir...may your tribe increase!!!
