Resham has been working extensively in addressing the global sex slavery and gender based violence through innovative approaches of self love and self care. Her work also focuses on discussing the cultural practices of dowry system, female feticide and customary prostitution in India that play a crucial role in pushing girls/women into sex trafficking. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Sustainable International Development at The Heller School of Social Policy and Management,Brandeis University. She has been writing and speaking boldly on these issues on different national and international platforms. She recently presented her paper on linkages between the dowry system and patriarchy with sex trafficking in India, at MIT.
