The Nilpena region of the Flinders Ranges in South Australia holds the key to our understanding of how life on Earth unfolded. Sir David Attenborough himself believes the area holds “…the earliest evidence of complex life in the history of our planet.” It contains fossils that date back 560 million years. It has even been proposed for recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Donate now at: A $560 gift is just $1 for every million years since these fossils were created!
Special thanks to Iva Davies of Icehouse for the use of his iconic song 'Great Southern Land' and to Michael Waterhouse for the use of his stunning photos. FNPW, the Flinders Ranges Ediacara Foundation and the South Australian Government are collaborating to raise the necessary funds to acquire and maintain what will be Australia's latest national park.
