A few months ago, David de Gea was considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Following an extremely disappointing World Cup and a few very complicated weeks, he managed to get back to his best and delivered some exceptional performances.

But recently, he’s unrecognisable. He seems to be a long way behind his international peers; Ter Stegen, Oblak and even Alisson.

But what the hell is happening to him?
