This video is based upon the book "Lessons Mama Never Taught Me", to emphasize the importance of teaching our girls and other women that their value does not lie in their beauty, sexuality, and/or body image. We must have those discussions about relevant social issues that are affecting our young girls more now than ever before. As women and the first teachers of the family, it is our responsibility to provide the basics they need to handle the challenges and pressures that women and young girls deal with on a daily basis.
