This video is a live recording from Sam Gowen's DM Solo Recital 1, The Elements, performed on April 23, 2019 in Longmire Recital Hall at Florida State University. The Elements Recital is a celebration of Earth Day, with each piece representing an element of nature: Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. The fifth element of Aether is represented by the extramusical features the first four pieces visually encapsulate through lights, staging, attire, and aurally through the use of transitive soundscapes.
