Islamic Jihad launches new destructive rockets into Israel

The armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, al-Quds Brigades, said it has launched rockets with high destructive power into southern Israel. The group quoted a senior military leader, who asked to remain anonymous, as saying the rockets were fired in retaliation for Israel's attacks on civilians and children in the Gaza Strip. The escalation began on Saturday morning when a barrage of rockets was fired from Gaza into Israel.
