When you're a villain who wants to destroy (?) the world, you have to be more strategic when it comes to using your hostages. A 'DON'T' would be tying them up and scattering them around in random places throughout the city. You need to keep them close to you to use as bait and/or leverage when your foe arrives. On a similar note, when you're a hero who wants to save hostages, you need to make sure you escort them to safety, otherwise the same hostage will get captured three times in a row. This is level one of the game, entitled “Sand in my Face.”
If you had downloaded Ultimate Spider-Man: Total Mayhem on the iOS before it was taken off, simply go to the App Store - Updates - Purchased - Not on this phone and you should be able to find it.
