Don’t rely on a VSO to win your VA Claim

Don’t rely on a VSO to win your VA Claim When filing Va Claims, most veterans find a VSO and then the VSO helps you determine what things you should claim based on the records that he can see and the experience that he has. VSO’s don’t rely on medical experience because they have none. Ironically, Va claims are entirely based on medical experience so I don’t even know how VSO’s have been in business for so many years!

They go after the easiest claims to win and that is the reason why tinnitus is the number 1 claim that veterans win. Your VSO can see some of your records but he does not go through your entire 1500 page c-file and he is not even qualified to make medical connections because he lacks a medical license. You will do a better job evaluating your va c-file because this is about your money and your claim. You know your medical history and you know what to look for. If you get stuck you will do the research to get unstuck and this process will take hours if not weeks.

A VSO just doesn’t have this kind of time to spend on your claim. There is a place for VSO’s in some claims but not for me. This process is frustrating enough without having to wait for answers and return phone calls from a non-responsive VSO.
