Is college a waste of money? Why are degrees and universities more and more expensive? Is it worth it to go to college? Where is your money going? Is the student debt even worth trying to pay off afterward? Is college right for you if your goal is financial freedom and independence or to start a business?
These are the most ridiculous expenses universities across America are wasting your tuition money on.
1. The most expensive on this list - TAMU’s football field at a tune of $485 million dollars
Half a BILLION dollars on a football stadium
2. Louisiana State University’s Lazy River - $85 million dollars
3. What’s even crazier is that University of Wisconsin-Madison spent more than that on Student Union building - $95 million
4. University of Michigan’s Stadium - $226 million
5. The best for last - University of Florida’s Osprey Fountains - literally a resort for $86 million
A football stadium is at least SOMEWHAT justifiable
But a resort? I personally don’t think students need a resort to learn algebra
Know what the worst thing is?
I bet the majority of students complaining about debt are the same ones that chose out of there free will to attend universities like these with lavish expenses that don’t add to improving the education
But the great thing about it is, is that if you don’t like this, you don’t have to attend
These universities are partly doing these things to attract more student’s wallets
The best thing you can do is vote with your wallet
