State Capitol - The future of electrical generation and rising transmission costs, already approved in previous years, are causing concerns among major employers about the potential of Illinois' competitive electrical costs to become non-competitive.

With the costs of transmission of electricity, the price of natural gas, and proposals to mandate that all fossil fuel used be done away with in Illinois by 2030, Illinois' leading energy consumers -- it's large businesses -- are growing concerned about rising energy costs.
