The Glory of Comfort | Adya Kumar | TED-Ed Club Brambleton Library

The Glory of Comfort | Adya Kumar | TED-Ed Club Brambleton Library Adya Kumar had to choose between two paths: the easy one or the challenging one. This made her wonder, why is there shame associated with doing things the easy way? Both routes will get you the same result anyway. In this talk, Adya, who lives by the policy "work smarter, not harder", discusses the benefits of being comfortable while still reaching the same goal.

I'm a high school student who has learned a lot of life lessons through high school, more than anything else, including the one I'm going to talk about. My hobbies include art and procrastination, both of which have taught me to be spontaneous and efficient.

TED-Ed, TED's education initiative, inspires tomorrow's TED speakers and future leaders by supporting students in discovering, developing and sharing their big ideas in the form of short, TED-style talks. In the TED-Ed Student Talk program, students work together to discuss and celebrate creative ideas through TED-Ed's flexible curriculum. Check out if you're interested in getting started.
