Sprint May Be Ripping You Off.

Sprint May Be Ripping You Off. Sprint may very well be Ripping you off. Check to see if your leased purchase phone is actually paid for or not. When you lease purchase a device through sprint and at the end of that lease purchase you may be under the impression that the payment your making for the device is being applied to the final purchase of said device. When in fact. After your lease purchase has ended. The lease continues. However. The money you're paying is no longer being applied to the purchase of the device. Its simply giving sprint your money for nothing. Example. You lease purchase a device for say $200. Your payments are $20 a month for the device. They set up the lease time frame for 6 months. So at the end of the six months you have paid $120 on the purchase of the device. But you continue to pay $20 per month believing the money is going to pay off the device. ITS NOT. They want a balloon payment for whatever was left owed on the device at the time the lease ended. Which is $80. Until you pay the $80 the monthly payment you have continued to pay for however long is for absolutely nothing. You've just been giving your money away for nothing in return. It's a scam. A horrible scam. I hope this helps someone. God bless.
