Forget the Million Dollar Baby......Miss Louise is the Four Hundred Dollar Baby!! Stranded alone for four days in a very large tree Miss Louise was close to death when human Louise decided something had to be done and in a hurry.
Knowing that baby bats will happily jump onto a dark cloth suspended in front of them, Louise asked her son to fly his drone with an attached dark cloth, in front of the baby with a view to bringing both the baby and the drone to the ground.
They almost had the baby on the cloth when the drone got stuck.
The only option left was to hire a cherry picker operator at $350 AUD to get both the drone and the baby down from the tree.
Once on the ground and her condition was assessed, it was decided that Miss Louise desperately needed a humidicrib to help her recovery.
Rachael came up with the brilliant idea of getting the humidicrib from A to B via an Uber driver which cost another $40.
Was it all worth it.
