Harmony Express, a compact universal remote control that replaces a large number of buttons with Amazon Alexa voice controls. The $ 250 Express is not meant to replace Harmony Elite, which Logitech launched in 2015 and remains one of the best high-end universal remotes. Instead, the company targets consumers who want to reduce clutter in their living rooms, but do not want to deal with another complex driver. And, of course, it's also much more modern, since it supports Alexa voice commands. All you need to do is press the voice button on the remote control and say "Play Netflix", and your TV and home theater will start, go to the correct entries and start the application.
Like the previous Harmony devices, the Express is based on an infrared base that sits underneath your TV and emits control signals to nearby devices. There is also a smaller infrared blaster that can be located elsewhere in your home theater to reach appliances on other shelves. A complementary application guides you through the configuration process, which consists of connecting your TV models and AV receiver, and confirming other devices in your configuration.
