Government teachers in Delhi fail to utilise tablets for official work

Government teachers in Delhi fail to utilise tablets for official work In Delhi govt schools, teachers have failed to utilise the tablets given to them for recording attendance preparing lesson plans and using them as teaching aids. Keeping in consideration underutilisation of resources, the directorate of education (DoE) has asked the heads of the schools to ensure that all official work is done on the tablets. The scheme of giving tablets to teachers was announced a long time ago, but it was only provided late last year. The teachers were asked to purchase them and the government reimbursed them the cost, up to a maximum of Rs 15,000. DoE also had to issue several circulars asking teachers to purchase the tablets.
